The day started off with thunderstorms and flooded the chances of any outdoor ceremony. Thankfully the relocation to an indoor area was quick and the wedding went off without a hitch! Woori Yallock provided some great little country photos absolutely unique to any city dwellers.

The most unique wedding I have ever been to! Kirstie and Ty exchanged vows on Halloween with a Halloween themed wedding! Ty decided to go with the Star Wars look as Obi Wan Kenobi and Kirstie looked beautiful in her Gothic Angel dress!

A happening night at Ondergronds where the Privilige Masquerade even was held! Just guys and girls burning up the dance floor. This little job was definitely different to what I'm usually accustomed to but I had a ball anyway!

A big congratulations to Thanh and Huy! Yesterday I was able to attend the traditional Tea Ceremony as well as their Catholic Ceremony. This was followed by a rocking reception at Happy Receptions where the young and old danced the night away!

Sacred Heart Mission Fashion Parade & Auction

On Thursday night, KPMG held a charity event with Sacred Heart Mission hosted by Corinne Grant and Bob Downe. I was lucky enough to be one of the photographers for this event. Various fashion designers within the industry (Ivan Gomez, Jenny Bannister and Luxe) as well as RMIT students were asked to recreate op-shop clothes for this event. Over $30 000 was raised from this event.

This family really knows how to party! I had to privilege to take photos of Abhishek & Swapna's Sangeet, a traditional Indian pre-wedding celebration. Everyone was so full of energy and I had trouble keeping up just from watching the family and guests dance and sing all night!

Wow I've been inundated with couples taking up my complimentary photoshoot offer! I never expected so many people to contact me about it, I'm starting to think I need my own secretary!
Unfortunately all good things must come to an end and therefore any shoots dated after 31 December 2009 will be on expense. That being said, if your wedding is still within 2009, the complimentary offer still applies!*

For those who have weddings in 2010 - I am still quite the bargain! I will be charging $300 for a full day (From preparation till night) including a DVD with all the photos (photo re-touching included). For interstate people I am willing to take a hit on fees and absorb some of the transportation costs.

I really enjoy my photography and would really love to give out a free service however it's just not sustainable for myself! I hope you all understand and thank you for all the people who have already booked and allow me the opportunity to capture your special day.

Of all my L'Oreal fashion photos I would have chosen a different one but hey! I'm not going to complain! :)

I am excited to announce my new blog for Ricky Fung Photography. This blog will let me share some of my ongoing work and news about myself and the business to allow a better insight of what my photography is about.

Currently I am in the middle of constructing a bridal only website to go along side my portfolio so I can give people more specific information and target any bridal needs. As a result I am looking to rapidly expand my portfolio for the website and therefore I am excited to announce that I am offering complimentary engagement/bridal shoots for a strict limited time only! (I would love to have this as an ongoing offer but I too need to earn a living!). Even if you're already married but perhaps want to make use of that wedding dress one more time, I would highly recommend you to take up the offer because even though the photos taken last a life time, this offer will not! :)
